Feet to the Ground: Michele Strüb

I bought these boots and two pairs of good wool socks down the hill from Cloudcroft, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Now that I'm living in Key West, I only wear them when a chill comes, otherwise I'm in flip-flops.

The feet and their covering touch earth as we make way from one place to another, making progress, accomplishing tasks. Of course, the real achievement is in the mind, but with schlogging the body along, its's nice to have comfort.
